LMSW Social Worker

My name is Faith Story, and I am the social worker with At Home Dialysis. It is my privilege to work with patients as they navigate dialysis and living a fulfilling life. I have a master’s degree in social work, and I have been doing dialysis for over 13 years. I have experience with incenter and home dialysis. My passion is for home dialysis so that patient’s can have control over their dialysis and have a flexible schedule that works for them. I love educating patients on the options for home dialysis including peritoneal, home hemo, and staff assist. Many do not know that they have other options and being able to provide them with choices is rewarding. At Home Dialysis is patient focused and truly seeks what is best for the patient and not just the bottom line. One of the things that is so exciting about At Home Dialysis is that everything is done in the patient’s home including training. This helps patients that have transportation issues or work issues. At Home Dialysis will come to the home early mornings, evenings, and weekends if needed. I am excited to work for a company that continually strives to offer the best care possible. I love dialysis, and I am grateful to be a part of a team that loves dialysis as well. Being in a field where I can get to know my patients and foster long term relationships is a gift. I look forward to educating more people about all of the services At Home Dialysis offers. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband (we met at Baylor University-Sic ‘Em Bears!), my two sons, and my dog. I love to cook, bake, read, and spend time with friends as well. God has blessed me beyond measure, and I am thankful that He has placed me with At Home Dialysis where I can serve Him and live out my passion of working with dialysis patients.

“Enjoy the journey and try to get better every day. And don’t lose the passion and the love for what you do” Nadia Comaneci.
